TKO EDucation has a Re-Certification process that is quite unique in the industry.  Equipment that tests good, gets processed and re-configured to match the specifications published on our website and/or your customized quote.

One of the things that makes our program a standout is how we test hard drives in these units. Most “used” dealers simply re-install Windows on the machines they want to sell (either legally OR illegally), and those drives that accept Windows are assumed as good, working drives. Well, we know better.

Every computer marked “TKOED Re-Certified,” we will have pulled the hard drive out and put it on device that tests for both weak and bad sectors. A drive with a single weak OR bad sector will get scrapped. Why? Because we know that a weak or bad sector is the first sign of imminent hard drive failure.

Ultimately, those machines that have truly “good” hard drives and have passed all of our other tests are then matched up with brand new keyboards and mice, are meticulously cleaned (inside and out), and individually boxed. TKOED Re-Certified computer is every bit as good as new when it leaves our facility.

Because of how thorough our process is, every Windows-based desktop computer we sell comes standard with our 3-year parts replacement warranty, while our Apple products and our notebook computers include a 1-year parts warranty.
